Rain on your wedding day? Embrace it! We can’t wait to share more images from Carey & Jim’s wedding at the Textile Museum. And a very special thanks to the awesome couple for rolling with the weather and Jeannette and all the other fantastic ladies from Evoke for making it all perfect rain AND shine (because we had plenty of both!).
So excited to share Rachel & Larry’s gorgeous wedding at Congressional Country Club…complete with KILTS! Check back next week for their full post.
If there’s one thing I love about photographing weddings in the DC area, it’s the wide variety of styles and venues that I get to capture. We get everything from elegantly classic museum weddings in the city to fun outdoor vineyard weddings to rustic farm weddings out in the countryside. And if you asked me my favorite kind, I could never choose. I love the stunning lighting and chic atmosphere of a city wedding just as much as the sunny and fresh feel of an outdoor wedding. If you ask me my favorite venues, they would range from a museum in DC to factory in Alexandria to a vineyard down by Charlottesville and more. And I’m always discovering new favorites! That’s part of what was so fun about Matt & Tara’s wedding at Hartwood House. I’d never been down there before and seeing all of Tara’s hard work and many DIY rustic details bring everything together was beyond fun. Their wedding from last summer is featured today on the blog Rustic Wedding Chic, so check it out when you have a moment!
